We've been doing a little brewing here this week... in the form of "compost tea". Dave and I have been talking about making some compost tea for a while now, to make better use of our wee little compost pile in the back yard. Owen helped me do some research last week, and we came across this video that gave us simple instructions on how to brew up some compost tea. Dave surprised us with a fancy 5 gallon bucket earlier in the week, and the boys and I set to work. (and a little play, too.)
The brew is rich, and full of nutrients. We are hoping for a lush beautiful garden this year, and maybe we will top our record 3 tangerine and 1 fig crop from last year.
