A Beach Wedding

I took a trip this past weekend to celebrate with my little brother as he got married on the beach in Playa del carmen, Mexico. We stayed at the most beautiful resort, overlooking the ocean, enjoyed some fabulous food (that I did not have to cook.... even more fabulous), and watched my brother marry the girl of his dreams.

My room was amazing. A king sized bed at the perfect comfort level, a jacuzzi tub, ocean view, and a well stocked mini bar... all included.

You could even have a masseuse come draw you a custom bath and give

you a neck massage while you soaked!)

(Yeah... and no, I didn't drain the bar. )

Ben and Kelli had a beautiful wedding, from the flowers to the setting, it was just what they wanted, and it turned out so lovely.

On the down side of all this wonderfulness, I got a little sunburned. I am not one to burn easily, but one hour in the sun the first morning, left me red and blistered. I was in pain all weekend, and spent most of my time in the room with the air on cold to cool my scalded legs and tummy. Thank goodness for room service and the well stocked mini-bar!

I'm glad to be home and see my boys, and my legs are almost back to normal size, but still red and tender. I will be wearing skirts with hairy legs for a bit longer, no doubt.
